ALHAJI OTUNBA TAKES A GLORIOUS EXIT

Inna liLlahi wa inna ilaehi rajiuun… “We came from Allah, and our return is also to Him…”

The Otunba extended family of Owu Dynasty in Egba, Abeokuta deeply regret the demise of their illustrious son, father and grandfather, Alhaji Ishaq Taiwo Otunba who left this world to the great world beyond (Alkiyaom) yesterday, April 11th, 2025.

Alhaji lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation, and I am proud indeed to be well associated relative Alhaji being a cousin to my mother.

Several years back, before his retirement as Lecturer at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, I heard accolades on a radio programme by students who had passed through him all expressing heartfelt gratitudes to him for having positive impacts in their lives. There were several mentions of Alhaji paying their school fees or hostel fees up to even giving them money for food and continuous fatherly and moral advice. This is just a bit of what he supported people with.

May Allah place him among the good people of Aljanna Firdaus. May his sins be forgiven in totality.
